Basketball Recap: Lyndhurst Takes a Loss

Lyndhurst was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Pompton Lakes Cardinals, falling 54-34. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Golden Bears of the 45-34 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2022.

Lyndhurst now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Pompton Lakes, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.

Lyndhurst has already played their next matchup (against Kearny), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Pompton Lakes will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Wood-Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on February 18th.
