Softball Game Preview: Eastside Ghosts vs. Passaic County Tech Bulldogs

Eastside is 0-10 against Passaic County Tech since April of 2016 but things could change on Monday. The Ghosts will square off against the Bulldogs at 4:15 p.m. Eastside has given up an average of 14.2 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Eastside is headed into Monday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Wednesday. They came up short against Hasbrouck Heights, falling 17-2.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 17 runs the game before, Passaic County Tech was a bit more limited in their game on Wednesday. They lost 12-0 to Immaculate Heart Academy. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Bulldogs were not able to get on the board.

Having lost for the first time this season, Passaic County Tech fell to 4-1. As for Eastside, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

Eastside suffered a grim 21-3 defeat to Passaic County Tech in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Can the Ghosts avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
