Volleyball Game Preview: Royall Panthers vs. Bangor Cardinals

The Royall Panthers will square off against the Bangor Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Royall will be strutting in after a win while Bangor will be coming in after a loss.

Bangor will be up against a hot Royall team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Panthers came out on top against Brookwood by a score of 3-1 on Thursday.

The victory didn't come easy: Brookwood scored at least 21 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-22, 19-25, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Bangor came up short against Wonewoc-Center on Thursday and fell 3-1. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Bangor had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-18, 23-25, 25-20.

Bangor's defeat dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Royall, their win bumped their record up to 17-7.

Royall beat Bangor 3-1 when the teams last played back in September. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cardinals turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
