Volleyball Recap: Needles Comes Up Short

Needles was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the GV Christian Guardians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Guardians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Thursday.

The final score came out to 25-6, 25-9.

Needles' defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for GV Christian, their victory was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 27-4.

Needles has already played their next matchup (against Lake Mead Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for GV Christian, after both having extra time off, they and Founders Classical Academy will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 12:00 p.m. on the 1st.
