Topsail had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 65-64 W against the Ashley Screaming Eagle. This was a revenge game for the Pirates: when they faced off against the Screaming Eagle two weeks ago, they had to take a 52-51 defeat.

Topsail's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Elijah Hebron, who went 6-for-9 to rack up 16 points. Spencer Henry was another key player, going 5-for-12 on his way to 16 points and five boards.

Despite the loss, Ashley still got an impressive performance from Quinn Bentley, who went 11-for-16 en route to 29 points and three steals. Ashley is 2-1 when Bentley posts 20 or more points, but 8-12 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Jarrell, who went 5-for-11 to rack up 13 points.

Topsail's record is now 10-13. As for Ashley, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record this season.

Coming up, Topsail will face off against Laney at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Topsail is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.4 points per game this season. As for Ashley, they will take on North Brunswick at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Ashley is facing North Brunswick at the right time seeing as North Brunswick is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
