Basketball Recap: West Lincoln Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, West Lincoln couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Richton Rebels by a score of 57-54 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Bears have suffered since November 9, 2024.

West Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 25-5. As for Richton, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-11 record this season.

West Lincoln does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Richton, they will face off against Newton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Newton has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
