League recap: Doniphan-Trumbull extends winning streak with victory over Crofton

C2 District 7 recap November 13, 2013

Doniphan-Trumbull extended the longest winning streak in C2 District 7 this week by beating Crofton, 26-0. The victory was the 10th in a row for the team.

Doniphan-Trumbull took down the Warriors 26-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Riley Wiltfong threw for 56 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 25 yards in the win.

Brent Breckner's team's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Jordan Slough contributed 75 yards. Noah Keller helped Doniphan-Trumbull's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 14 yards.

Zach McNally was the best receiver in the league this week as the Cardinals defeated Crofton. McNally racked up 3 receptions for 20 yards. Keller helped Doniphan-Trumbull's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 14 yards.

Thanks to the talents of Wiltfong and Slough, Doniphan-Trumbull has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Wiltfong is tops in the league in passing with 1,402 yards, while Slough has rushed for 1,675 yards this season. Tops in the league in receiving yards is Thayer Central's Trev Mumm, with 413 yards on 30 catches.

St. Cecilia made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 2,166 from 2,398.
