Basketball Recap: Hope Academy Trojan Tigers vs. South Lake Eagles

After flying high against Trinity Catholic last Tuesday, Hope Academy came back down to earth. The Hope Academy Trojan Tigers were just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 73-72 to the South Lake Eagles. The Trojan Tigers haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Despite the loss, Hope Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Dwayne Foreman III went 11 of 20 on his way to 34 points and three steals. The game was Foreman III's 11th in a row with at least ten points. Xavier Shine was another key player, putting up 11 points.
