Basketball Game Preview: Chippewa Chipps vs. Hillsdale Falcons

The Chippewa Chipps will take on the Hillsdale Falcons in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Chippewa has given up an average of 55.2 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Chippewa saw some tournament action on Saturday. They lost 75-49 to Woodridge. While losing is never fun, the Chipps can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 48th, while the Bulldogs are ranked seventh).

Meanwhile, Hillsdale had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of Waynedale by a score of 54-52 on Monday.

Chippewa's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Hillsdale, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

Chippewa came up short against Hillsdale when the teams last played back in February, falling 70-57. Can the Chipps avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
