Moapa Valley has gone a perfect 3-0 against Mater Academy East Las Vegas recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. On Saturday, Moapa Valley made easy work of Del Sol and carried off a 21-3 victory. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won six matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Mater Academy East Las Vegas put their dominant pitcher on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Thursday. They came out on top against Del Sol by a score of 4-0.

Camryn Reyes was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since March 3rd. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last seven games she's played.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ireland Sheehan, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 2-for-3. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Telisha Sayles, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

Mater Academy East Las Vegas' win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Moapa Valley, their record now sits at 7-3.

Moapa Valley took their win against Mater Academy East Las Vegas when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 11-1. Will Moapa Valley repeat their success, or does Mater Academy East Las Vegas has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
