Volleyball Recap: Warren Central Extends Winning Streak to Three

Warren Central had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Callaway Chargers. That's more bragging rights for the Vikings, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Warren Central was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-13, 25-11.

Among those leading the charge was Kamryn Kelly, who had seven aces.

Kelly wasn't the only good server: Warren Central was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 23 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Warren Central now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Callaway, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.

Warren Central will challenge Vicksburg at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Callaway, they will head out on the road to face off against Ridgeland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
