Basketball Recap: St. Edmond Drops Highest Score of Season Against Paton-Churdan

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Edmond). They breezed past the Paton-Churdan Rockets to the tune of 73-24 on Thursday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Gaels with their most commanding win of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for St. Edmond and bumps their season record up to 7-14. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points over those games. As for Paton-Churdan, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-20.

Looking ahead, St. Edmond will head out on the road to take on River Valley on Tuesday. St. Edmond has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Paton-Churdan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
