Soccer Recap: Thomasville Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Thomasville and Model squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Thomasville had to settle for second. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Devils. If Thomasville were looking for revenge after losing 5-2 to Model when the teams met back in May of 2017, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The loss snapped Thomasville's winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 17-3 record. As for Model, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 15-1.

Thomasville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Model, they will head out on the road to challenge Academy for Classical Education at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
