The St. Albans Bulldogs are taking a road trip to square off against the True North Classical Academy Titans at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
While St. Albans' victory against Lake Placid wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. St. Albans won by a run and slipped past Lake Placid 8-7. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

St. Albans saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was George Minjack, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and three RBI. Those three RBI gave Minjack a new career-high. Henry Miller also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask True North Classical Academy). They were the clear victor by a 16-1 margin over Hialeah Educational Academy on Wednesday. The win was nothing new for the Titans as they're now sitting on four straight.
Alex Diaz looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.
At the plate, True North Classical Academy got a massive performance out of Kash Ojeda, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. Max Balsera was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles.
True North Classical Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .643. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
True North Classical Academy pushed their record up to 11-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for St. Albans, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Friday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. St. Albans has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.6 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like True North Classical Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.6 strikeouts.
