Baseball Game Preview: Ganado Hornets vs. Many Farms Lobos

Ganado and Many Farms are an even 4-4 against one another since April of 2015, but likely not for long. Ganado will host Many Farms at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Ganado lost 14-4 to Chinle on Wednesday.

Julian Smith made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his six plate appearances. Smith is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.

Meanwhile, Many Farms was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Monument Valley, falling 11-3.

Mathias Yazzie was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Damion Lopez, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Ganado's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Many Farms, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Everything went Ganado's way against Many Farms in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as Ganado made off with a 20-10 win. Will Ganado repeat their success, or does Many Farms has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
