Basketball Recap: Chief Leschi Takes a Loss

Chief Leschi was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Neah Bay Red Devils, falling 71-24. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 361st, while the Red Devils are ranked 46th).

Chief Leschi's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Neah Bay, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chief Leschi will challenge Tyee at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Neah Bay, they will take on Forks at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
