After a string of three wins, Grapevine's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Round Rock Dragons.

Aubrey Goode was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had eight assists and five aces. Those five aces gave her a new career-high.

Grapevine's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Round Rock, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 13-3.

Coincidentally, Grapevine and Round Rock will both be playing Colleyville Heritage the next time they take the court. The Dragons will head out to face the Panthers at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Mustangs will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
