Basketball Recap: Kendall Takes a Loss

Kendall lost against Notre Dame back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Kendall Eagles fell 54-41 to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Notre Dame to victory, but perhaps none more so than Aiden Bellavia, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 boards. Bellavia is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Chase Antinore, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 15 boards.

Kendall's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Notre Dame, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Kendall wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 47-38 defeat against Wheatland-Chili on the 17th. As for Notre Dame, they will face off against Oakfield-Alabama at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Notre Dame is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.7 points per game this season.
