Baseball Recap: Cascade Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Cascade can now relate to. They fell just short of the Northview Knights by a score of 4-3 on Friday. The Cadets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2025.

Braxton Lewis and J.T. Roshong stepped up to the plate in a big way. Lewis went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI, while Roshong went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases and one RBI.

With the defeat, Cascade broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-9. As for Northview, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Cascade does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northview, they have already played their next contest, a 10-0 win against Owen Valley on the 1st.
