Softball Recap: Grove City Christian's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Grove City Christian extended their winning streak to six on Wednesday, bumping their season record up to 12-7 in the process. They were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Bishop Rosecrans Bishops. Considering the Eagles have won ten matches by more than eight runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

As for Bishop Rosecrans, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8. The contest marked their lowest-scoring game so far this season.

For Bishop Rosecrans' part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emily Jenkins, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Looking ahead, Grove City Christian will head out on the road to square off against Millersport at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bishop Rosecrans, they will host Berne Union at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Bishops will need to watch out since the Rockets have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches.
