Baseball Game Preview: Mullins Auctioneers vs. Manning Monarchs

The Mullins Auctioneers are taking a road trip to face off against the Manning Monarchs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Mullins has struggled recently with 14 losses in a row, while Manning will arrive with three straight victories.

Mullins fell victim to Lake City and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 10-0 to the Panthers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Andre Littlejohn was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024.

Meanwhile, while Manning put up plenty of runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Kingstree. Manning put the hurt on Kingstree with a sharp 15-0 win. Considering the Monarchs have won three matches by more than nine runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Mullins' defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Manning, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6.
