Basketball Recap: Milan Takes a Loss

Milan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They took a hard 46-32 fall against the Flat Rock Rams. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 61-24 back in January.

Addi Kopp was the offensive standout of the matchup as she went 7 for 12 en route to 17 points and three steals. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in field goal percentage (58%). Another player making a difference was Madleen Hussein, who posted 12 points and five rebounds.

Milan's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Flat Rock, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Milan will venture away from home to take on Grosse Ile at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Flat Rock, they will head out to challenge Riverview at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
