Preview: Buchanan vs. Edison
On Friday, Edison are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Buchanan at Veterans Memorial Stadium at 4:30 PM. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Edison couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were completely outmatched, falling 7-46 to Central.
Meanwhile, Buchanan found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 7-28 punch to the gut against Bullard last Friday. This game was a close 7-8 at the break, but unfortunately for Buchanan it sure didn't stay that way.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better score. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contest, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
