After losing to Marmion the last time they met, Loyola Academy decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Ramblers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cadets on Tuesday, sneaking past 3-2. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Loyola Academy were the better team in the second half.

With the win, Loyola Academy broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 7-5-1. As for Marmion, their loss ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Loyola Academy will face off against rival Saint Ignatius College Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Marmion is set to take on their familiar foe Chicago Mt. Carmel at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
