Basketball Recap: Hector Comes Up Short

Hector was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 47-28 bruising from the Ouachita Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 226th, while the Warriors are ranked 89th).

Hector's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Ouachita, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hector will challenge Hackett at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ouachita, they will host Fordyce at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
