Basketball Recap: Hanna Takes a Loss

Hanna was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They took a 48-32 bruising from the San Benito Greyhounds. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 59-19 on January 3rd.

It was another big night for Angelina Reyes, who posted 20 points and six steals for San Benito. Kayla Rodriguez was another key player, putting up 12 points and three steals.

Hanna's defeat dropped their record down to 7-21. As for San Benito, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 20-11.

Hanna will head out on the road to face off against Veterans Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for San Benito, they will host Los Fresnos at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
