Baseball Recap: Adrian/Ellsworth Comes Up Short

Adrian/Ellsworth suffered their biggest loss since May 1, 2024 on Monday. They lost 9-2 to the Edgerton/Southwest Minnesota Christian Flying Dutchmen. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Dragons' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

Adrian/Ellsworth's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Edgerton/Southwest Minnesota Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Adrian/Ellsworth will venture away from home to challenge Red Rock Central/Westbrook-Walnut Grove at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Edgerton/Southwest Minnesota Christian, they will head out to face off against Murray County Central at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
