Soccer Game Preview: Archbishop Williams vs. Bishop Fenwick

The Archbishop Williams Bishops will take on the Bishop Fenwick Crusaders at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

On Thursday, Archbishop Williams didn't have quite enough to beat Bishop Feehan and fell 4-3. While losing is never fun, Archbishop Williams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 158th, while Bishop Feehan are ranked sixth).

Meanwhile, neither Bishop Fenwick nor St. Mary's could gain the upper hand on Wednesday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

With that draw, Bishop Fenwick's record moves to 3-1-3. As for Archbishop Williams, they now have a losing record of 2-3-2.

Archbishop Williams might still be hurting after the 5-0 loss they got from Bishop Fenwick in their previous matchup back in September of 2024. Can the Bishops avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
