Recap: Duncanville Panthers and Pantherettes vs. Cedar Hill Longhorns
The Duncanville Panthers and Pantherettes waltzed into their game on Friday with five straight wins but they left with six. They came out on top against Cedar Hill by a score of 64-51. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Duncanville also won the last time the pair played on January 2nd.
Brandon Davis-ray was his usual excellent self, scoring 25 points along with six rebounds. He hasn't dropped below 15 points for six straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Smith, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and four blocks.
Duncanville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a massive bump to their 13-9 record this season. As for Cedar Hill, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 18-11.
Duncanville will be playing in front of their home fans against Waxahachie at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Waxahachie has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 721 points over their last ten matchups. As for Cedar Hill, they will head out on the road to square off against Mansfield at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mansfield will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 273rd, while Cedar Hill is ranked 119th).
