Forest Park is a perfect 8-0 against Ontonagon since October of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Trojans will host the Gladiators at 6:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses apiece.

Forest Park's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Gogebic [Johnston/Wakefield] last Friday. They took a blow against the Miners, falling 32-0. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 66th, while the Miners are ranked 19th).

Meanwhile, Ontonagon ended up a good deal behind North Central on Friday and lost 60-42. The Gladiators were down 60-30 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Forest Park's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Ontonagon, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Everything came up roses for Forest Park against Ontonagon in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 63-6 win. Do the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Gladiators turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
