Adriana Giomi put in work no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed seven innings while giving up three earned runs off nine hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run and two runs.
Giomi wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Arden Walsh, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.
Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory dropped their record down to 12-13 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Palma, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-14-1.
