Baseball Recap: King's Academy Takes a Loss

King's Academy made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Lakeway Christian Academy, but they still couldn't quite topple them. King's Academy fell just short of Lakeway Christian Academy by a score of 6-4 on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for King's Academy in their meetings with Lakeway Christian Academy: they've now lost four in a row.

King's Academy saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zion Stephen, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

King's Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Lakeway Christian Academy, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. King's Academy will challenge William Blount at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lakeway Christian Academy, they will take on Christian Academy of Knoxville at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
