The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Keyser in their matchups with North Marion: they've now lost nine in a row.
Keyser's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Patrick Liller, who scored ten points along with two blocks. Another player making a difference was Jace Courrier, who scored nine points along with two steals.
Brock Martin had a dynamite game for North Marion, scoring 15 points along with six rebounds and three steals. It was the first time this season that Martin scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Caden Morris, who scored 12 points along with two steals.
Keyser's loss dropped their record down to 7-18. As for North Marion, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-11.
Keyser does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Marion, they will take on Shady Spring at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Shady Spring will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something North Marion surely won't give up without a fight.
