Portland Christian had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.4 runs) and they went ahead and made it 11 on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by an 18-2 margin over the Presentation Toppers. 18 seems to be a good number for the Eagles as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Galilee Farmer was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Bailey Atcher, who went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, four runs, and two RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Portland Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive games.

Portland Christian pushed their record up to 19-11 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Presentation, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Portland Christian will host North Hardin Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Presentation, they will square off against Shawnee at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
