It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Midway had no problem doing just that on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over the Waxahachie Indians. The result was nothing new for Midway, who have now won 11 matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

KJ Billups and Sarah Brown scored all four of Midway's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 17 goals.

Midway is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 45 goals over those nine games. Waxahachie's defeat dropped their record down to 14-8-3.

Midway wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 5-0 loss against Sachse on the 25th. Waxahachie does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
