Soccer Recap: Shrewsbury Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Shrewsbury lost against St. John back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Colonials lost 4-0 to the Pioneers. While losing is never fun, Shrewsbury can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 155th, while St. John's are ranked 27th).

Shrewsbury's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2-4. As for St. John's, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1-2.

Coming up, Shrewsbury will challenge Wachusett Regional at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wachusett Regional's defense has only allowed 0.3 goals per game this season, so Shrewsbury's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for St. John's, they will head out to face off against St. John's Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
