While Berwick's win against Erath wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers won by a run and slipped past the Bobcats 13-12. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Panthers considering their two-run performance the game before.

The team relied heavily on Emilly Osburn, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Azyria Garrison, who went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Berwick kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. They are a perfect 12-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Berwick pushed their record up to 18-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Erath, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-13.

Looking ahead, Berwick will be playing in front of their home fans against Terrebonne at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Erath, they are taking a road trip to square off against Delcambre at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
