Basketball Recap: Bishop LeBlond Takes a Loss

Bishop LeBlond lost against Lathrop back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bishop LeBlond Eagles fell to the Lathrop Mules 53-49. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 329th, while the Mules are ranked 77th).

Bishop LeBlond has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for Lathrop, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bishop LeBlond will host Chillicothe at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Lathrop, they will challenge Breckenridge at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
