Southwood entered their tilt with Northwestern on Tuesday with 20 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 21. They blew past the Tigers 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Southwood was: they took every set by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-6, 25-10.

Shania Rhamy paced Southwood's offense, picking up 17 kills. Rhamy got some help from Adi Deaton and her 37 assists. Hali Pershing and Alexis Lopez kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Southwood's win bumped their record up to 22-2. As for Northwestern, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season.

Southwood will face off against Lewis Cass at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Northwestern has already played their next contest (against Eastern), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
