It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Oyster River had no problem doing just that on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the St. Thomas Aquinas Saints a 10-0 shutout. The Bobcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by six runs or more this season.

The win (which was Oyster River's third in a row) raised their record to 12-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for St. Thomas Aquinas, they moved to 10-12 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Oyster River will square off against Stark on Saturday. St. Thomas Aquinas does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
