Scott County dropped their record down to 22-10 on Thursday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell 7-2 to the Lexington Catholic Knights. Surprisingly, this marked the Cardinals' fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.
Luke Huffman made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
As for Lexington Catholic, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-8-1 record this season.
