Volleyball Game Preview: De La Salle Meteors vs. Jones Eagles

De La Salle hasn't had much luck against Jones recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Meteors will be playing at home against the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

De La Salle is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They came out on top against Thornridge by a score of 2-0.

De La Salle not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Thornridge to exactly 17 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Jones beat Muchin College Prep 2-0 on Tuesday.

Jones now has a winning record of 17-16. As for De La Salle, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-13 record this season.

De La Salle came up short against Jones when the teams last played back in April of 2024, falling 2-0. Can the Meteors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
