Volleyball Recap: Aurora Central Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Aurora Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Adams City Eagles. If the Trojans were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Eagles when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Avyanna Langkiet- Balderes paced Aurora Central's offense, picking up four kills. Langkiet- Balderes got some help from Andena Torres and her seven assists. Torres was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Aurora Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Adams City, their win ended a five-match drought on the road and puts them at 2-15.

Aurora Central has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Gateway on the 9th. As for Adams City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Skyview on the 9th.
