Softball Preview: Commack Cougars vs. Northport Tigers
Commack has won eight straight games at home, while Northport has won eight straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Wednesday. The Cougars will welcome the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Madison Johnston was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two). Sophia Emanuel was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run and four RBI.

Northport hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least two batters in three consecutive matchups.
Northport has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season.
