Fordham Prep was sadly handed a defeat on Tuesday, but Liam Deane did his best to prevent it. Deane tossed 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. The performance also marked the fewest walks (one) he has had since back in May of 2025.

Deane and Fordham Prep will welcome Archbishop Molloy at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Deane had to take a loss the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their matchup back in March of 2025 11-1.
