After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Springdale brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. They came out on top against the Northside Grizzlies by a score of 13-9 on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Bulldogs as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Springdale's victory bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Northside, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Springdale will host Bentonville West at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wolverines have averaged an impressive 6.3 runs per game this season. As for Northside, they will take on Rogers Heritage at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The War Eagles will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Grizzlies surely won't give up without a fight.
