Baseball Recap: Tulsa NOAH HomeSchool Comes Up Short

Tulsa NOAH HomeSchool blew Claremore out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Monday Claremore got their revenge. Tulsa NOAH HomeSchool fell just short of Claremore by a score of 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Jaguars have suffered since April 2, 2024.

Tulsa NOAH HomeSchool saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Wilke, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Even though they lost, Tulsa NOAH HomeSchool was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .414. This was only their first loss (out of three games) when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Tulsa NOAH HomeSchool has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season. Claremore's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tulsa NOAH HomeSchool will take on Varsity Opponent at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Claremore, they will face off against Rejoice Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Rejoice Christian will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Claremore surely won't give up without a fight.
