Arlington barely beat Grand Prairie the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Colts blew past the Gophers 8-0 on Thursday. The Colts haven't had any issues with the Gophers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.
Abraham Alvarado and Mason Hensley made a big impact no matter where they played. Throwing, Alvarado didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over 4.2 innings pitched. Meanwhile, Hensley pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances.
