Christopher McGee turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than two earned runs surrendered on Thursday. He struck out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits (and not a single walk). He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Montrose is 2-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 2-4 otherwise.

Coming up, McGee and Montrose are taking a road trip to challenge Carbondale Area at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Meteors are a perfect 3-0 against the Chargers going back to March of 2016, a lead they'll look to extend.
