After a string of three wins, United South's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Devine Warhorses. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 13-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Katie Herrera and Andrea Guerrero did some serious damage despite the final result: Herrera went 1-for-2 with one home run, while Guerrero scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

United South's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9-2. As for Devine, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

United South will venture away from home to face off against United at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be United's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Devine, they will take on Cornerstone Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
